The age of Web 2.0 has thrust us all into a world where personal thoughts, dreams and ambitions can be put out there for the world to see.  What was once documented in a personal journal is now available for the world to read and add insight.  What a wonderful world, particularly for those like me that depend on these tools to communicate with family, friends and colleagues.

Thanks to the support of my loving husband Robert, my encouraging extended family and a cheerful puppy named Rumor, I will be deeply involved in research and studies over the next few years.   In the midst of all of the reading, research and writing I will still enjoy my daily roller blading time with Rumor and few moments of skiing and kayaking with friends and family.  Life is a journey and it is meant to be enjoyed!
